If Nintendo made a foldable handheld console with a flexible display, it might look something like the Game Boy Flip concept. Speaking of foldable devices, Nintendo has considered making a mobile phone for at least a decade, including courting Nokia in the early 2000s.
However, former Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime stated that the company has “no desire to get into telephony”. With the plethora of foldable smartphones on the market today, it would only make sense for Nintendo to partner with Samsung (or another company) to create such a hybrid device. The Game Boy Flip would allow users to attach controllers for use during gameplay, while we’re sure there would be some touchscreen-only titles as well.
