Ferrari F80 Supercar Reveal
After nearly a year of camouflaged prototypes, the Ferrari F80 supercar has been officially unveiled. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L, 120-degree V6 engine, paired with three electric motors, that generate a combined 1,184 hp, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling it to hit 62 mph in 2.1 seconds.

Weighing in at just 3,362 pounds, the F80 can generate 2,314 pounds of downforce, mainly due to its large active rear wing, that when fully deployed, uses an ‘S-Duct’ airflow feature capable of funneling air from underneath the nose and over the canopy. It also features an active-suspension system, based on spool-valve dampers from Multimatic, with each damper having motor that can brake or accelerate the piston, thus eliminating the need for anti-roll bars. It’s limited to 399-units worldwide, priced from around $4-million USD.
