Apparently, Microsoft had an Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death ugly sweater for sale on their employee store yesterday, and it quickly sold out. With that said, at least one should surface within the next few weeks on FB Marketplace, eBay, etc., but for a hefty premium.
For those who never experienced the Red Ring of Death, the root cause is faulty solder joints on the graphics processing unit (GPU) which cracked due to thermal stress. This meant that they would expand and contract too much when the console heated up and cooled down, eventually breaking the connections between components inside the system. Unfortunately, it was a major design flaw in the early Xbox 360 models.
