Dbrand teases what the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 could look like by showing a prototype case the company is working on, called Killswitch 2. The design isn’t a radical departure from the first-generation (242mm wide x 102mm tall x 13.9mm thick) model, aside from slightly larger (270mm wide x 116mm tall x 14mm thick) dimensions, as well as a new button on the right Joy-Con.
This isn’t a mockup of what Dbrand thinks the console looks like, but rather a case based on a 3D scan of the real hardware, or at least according to CEO Adam Ijaz. With that said, the Joy-Cons are purportedly magnetically attached with an eject button located on the back of the controllers near the top. There also appears to be a second USB-C port up top, which means you’ll be able to plug in a charging cable when in tabletop mode.
