Concrete Tent

You may have seen the Concrete Canvas Shelter before, but here’s another look at this amazing invention. It’s basically a large inflatable tent made from a canvas-like fabric that is both flexible as well as lightweight, but when water is added, it hardens into concrete. This was originally developed for military use and also for natural disasters where sturdy shelters need to be constructed quickly. In tests the inflatable canvas shelter was able to be setup by 2 people, without requiring special training, in less than an hour. After hardening, the building is ready to be used within 24-hours. It comes delivered airtight in a flat-pack, water / rot-proof sacks. An electric fan quickly inflates the plastic structure to ready it for the water.
