Auto enthusiast Dean Loucks purchased an IndyCar chassis a few years back – Eddie Cheever’s backup car from the 2000 season, and after 1,000 hours spent on the operating table at his firm, The Art of Design, it became a street-legal beast. It now features a custom front splitter, key-start ignition, and is powered by a small block Chevrolet engine. The V8 is good for a top speed of 120 mph, and while it may not sound too impressive, you have to remember that this vehicle only weighs 1,200-pounds.
