YouTuber DemonFlyingFox used AI to turn ‘The Simpsons‘ into a 1950s-style show captured with a Super Panavision 70 camera. Technically speaking, Super Panavision 70 is actually the marketing brand name used to identify movies photographed with Panavision 70mm spherical optics.
Now you might be wondering just how far we are from creating full TV series using AI, and the answer to that is probably within the next 6-months, or at least if OpenAI’s Sora takes off. Just don’t confuse Ultra Panavision 70 with Super Panavision 70, as the former is extremely rare and has only been used on a handful of films since its inception in 1957.
