GoPro action cameras have been around in 2004, and since that time, many rumors have been circulating about Apple acquiring the company, but none have come to fruition. If the iPhone maker did make their own action camera, it might look something like the AirCam, which sports an Apple Watch-like display up front for taking selfies.
Created by Italy-based industrial designer Antonio De Rosa, the AirCam aims to keep things simple by including only the most necessary functions. Aside from the secondary display in front, the rear features a single OLED touchscreen, while the sides boast a USB-C port and microSDXC card slot for data transfer. As for camera sensor, we’d imagine it being on par with at least the latest GoPro and DJI Osmo action cameras, which means shooting 5K30 + 4K60, Wide FOV footage at the minimum.
