Nixie Camera Drone Watch

Here’s another look at The Nixie, invented by Stanford postdoctoral researcher Christoph Kohstall. It’s touted as the world’s first flyable and wrist-wearable camera, perfect for those impossible selfie shots. When worn, it resembles a slightly bulky bracelet, but quickly unfolds into a small, sleek quadcopter drone after you perform a simple gesture with your wrist. “Whether the Nixie will be able to recognize you in a crowded space like a baseball game or walking through the streets of a major city remains to be seen, and Kohstall’s team will need to work out those details and more before the wearable copter makes it to market. But the promise of such a product is there, and soon all of our selfies might be taken with a little help from a drone,” reports CNET.
