Manufactured in New York by Pratt Industries, the GreenBox is touted as the world’s smartest pizza box, and it’s made from 100% recycled materials. What sets this box apart from the others is that there are perforated sections that can be torn away and used as plates for easy serving. According to Inhabitat, “The GreenBox was invented by William Walsh after he got the idea to re-use the top of a pizza box as plates for his friends back in college. Walsh, who unfortunately passed away back in 2011, used his business degree and minor in mechanical engineering to take his clever hack to the next level by patenting and selling his GreenBoxes to pizza places under the company EcoVention, LLC.”
