Sure, the items may be overpriced, but fans of The Simpsons will gladly fork over the cash to chow down on a Krusty Burger or a beer from Moe’s Tavern. Here’s yet another interesting look at the new land / street that just opened at Universal Orlando. Continue reading for a video, more pictures, and additional information.
Stand-alone shops are Moe’s Tavern, Krusty Burger, the Kwik-E-Mart and the Android Dungeon (which is just a facade, with a sign on the door stating the store is closed for “Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con”), while Fast Food Boulevard plays host to Cletus’ Chicken Shack, where you can munch on chicken and waffles; Flaming Moe’s for non-alcoholic cocktails; The Frying Dutchman for fried seafood; Luigi’s, which disappointingly only serves pizza; and, for a healthy option, Lisa’s Teahouse of Horror, which serves salads and sandwiches.
Apparently the park isn’t finished yet, either; a Duff Brewery seems to be in the works, along with a Lard Lad doughnut store and a Jebediah Springfield statue, and a new octopus ride starring Kang and Kodos. However, it just won’t be right until someone builds the Springfield Tire Fire.
