Designed by Kubota Architect Atelier, the Apple Store-inspired “FU House” consists of a series of concrete walls that are supported by a delicate white panel, while the bottom is slightly elevated to give it the appearance being levitated. The monolithic walls are exposed internally, and matched with white tile floors. There’s a glass car showcase on one side of the living room, with the other side opening to a patio and wading pool. “Kubota Architect Atelier is no stranger to creating spacious abodes with contemporary design cues. The company’s latest project is a sizable home located in the industrialized city of Shunan, Japan. To help with urban congestion, the architects equipped the space with rugged textiles that dictate how air and sunlight flow inside the structure,” reports Hype Beast.
