Apple WatchOS 10 Reveal WWDC
Apple WatchOS 10 not only has redesigned apps, but also new hiking / cycling features as well as tools to support mental health. The apps now provide more information at a glance while offering new ways to navigate and quickly access content including Weather, Stocks, Home, Maps, Messages, World Clock and more.

Just like in iOS 17, WatchOS 10 also has a new SmartStack that contains widgets that automatically adapts to the user’s context and can be revealed at the twist of the Digital Crown. To start the day, Weather shows the daily forecast and Reminders keeps you up to date on tasks. New watch faces include a Peanuts-themed design that brings the comic strip to life. Compass comes in handy when hiking, as it generates two new waypoints: Last Cellular Connection Waypoint and Last Emergency Call Waypoint. Mindfulness lets users log their emotions and daily moods to express how they are feeling. WatchOS 10 is available now to Apple Developer Program members, with the official release coming this fall for Apple Watch Series 4 or later models.

Apple WatchOS 10 Reveal WWDC

With watchOS 10, we’ve redesigned the interface, allowing users to experience Apple Watch like never before. The update gives users the information that matters most to them at a glance, simplified navigation, and a new visual language that takes full advantage of the Apple Watch display. We’re also introducing the Smart Stack, offering quick access to proactive and relevant information, right from the watch face,” said Alan Dye, Apple’s vice president of Human Interface Design.
