Set to launch next year, the Audi E-Tron Scooter merges electric skateboard and scooter into one, and can easily be transported by car, bus, or train. Weighing just 26-pounds, the electric scooter can be folded up quickly and then conveniently stored in the back of a car, or pulled like a trolley. The riding stance is similar to when surfing waves, as the rider has one hand free, making it easy to look around and give hand signals.
The E-Tron Scooter still can hit a top speed of 12.5 mph, but the range still hasn’t yet been announced. Fortunately, regenerative braking is able to recover some of that power, while a hydraulic foot brake can be used for emergency stops. One caveat: you’ll have to shell out €2,000 (US $2,225) when it hits stores next year, making it pricier than just about every electric scooter or skateboard currently on the market.
