We have seen the future of food trucks, and robots have taken over. Customers simply enter the food trucks, and robots take over the rest. In this pizza truck example, a gestural interface allows customers to easily add ingredients onto their creation, while a human barista guides them through the process.
If you look inside, there’s a condiment station, conveyor belt, oven, control panel, drink / soda machine, a touchscreen display for ordering and a food processing machine. This autonomous food truck would make sense as it would not only be efficient, but also save its owner(s) on labor, resulting in lower food prices.
