The Biofire Smart Gun is the world’s first 9mm firearm that uses both fingerprint and facial recognition biometrics to ensure only authorized users can operate it. This allows firearm owners to defend themselves against external threats while preventing unauthorized access and misuse. An authorized user can just pick the gun up and fire away without having to worry about any buttons or scanners.
It utilizes Biofire’s Guardian Biometric Engine, which integrates cutting edge capacitive fingerprint identification and 3D infrared facial recognition systems that independently verify a user’s identity. This biometric data cannot be leaked since there is no built-in WiFi, Bluetooth or GPS.
