Unlike other drones, the “Blank Drone” boasts a modular design. This means it consists of two parts that fold down to just 50% of its original size when not in use. These interlocking modules form an “X” when connected manner, and users can either fly it as is, or snap on an additional camera module in the center. “The modularity aspect allows you to not only switch between different camera modules (for video, photo, portrait, landscape, etc.), but also swap between different color combinations. Built with a plug-and-use arrangement, the Blank makes a neat drone when put together, and occupies a rather small footprint when disassembled,” reports Yanko Design.
