Blue Scuti Beats Tetris True Killscreen
Blue Scuti, a 13-year-old competitive gamer, has unofficially beaten the NES version of Tetris for the first time ever by reaching its mythical true killscreen, nearly 35-years after its release. This was accomplished by completing level 157 of the game, which is when it crashes.

It took Blue Scuti around 38-minutes to achieve this feat, while making use of a rolling technique that saw him press the D-pad at least 20-times per second by gliding his fingers along the bottom of the controller. The nerves really didn’t start kicking in for him until after the 30-minute mark when a simple missed tap could have ended the run.
