It’s not everyday that you see a BMW 320d, or at least in North America, much less one that has been converted into an M3-inspired panel van. Wayde Evans of Mohawk Customs decided to make the latter a reality and it involved lots of cutting, as both the rear doors and windows are now gone.
He started with a wrecked BMW 320d Touring that needed an ECU fix to run again, but that didn’t cause too much issue. Next, a widebody kit that was originally designed for a BMW M3 had to be modified before it could be installed on the chassis of his wagon, complete with fender extensions and a replica bumper. Power comes from a tuned 2.0-liter inline-4 diesel engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger making 247 hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
