
It’s official, BMW has confirmed the M8, and it will be available in three different models: Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. The company hasn’t released any technical specifications, but some insiders are reporting a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 powerplant, mated to an eight-speed ZF-sourced automatic transmission, complete with all-wheel drive. “With the Coupe scheduled to arrive in 2019 and the other two later in 2020, the successors to the 6-series models will reportedly all feature a reworked version of Bimmer’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and produce around 600 horsepower,” reports Hype Beast.
