Why bother with snowmobiles, when you could ride around in a Bobsla? Think of this all-electric vehicle as half snowmobile and half drift kart. It’s designed for people who don’t like skiing, thanks to a 12-kW dual-motor as well as a pair of treads on the rear, enabling it to hit a top speed of over 20 mph. Skit resorts can acquire them in a package of 4-5 vehicles, complete with spare batteries, a charging station, and time-measuring systems.
Unlike a traditional snow vehicle, Bobsla doesn’t have any steering, but rather just slides and drifts around the snow. Its plastic front-end absorbs any impact that might happen, and no hill is required, just a small patch of flat snow between 164 to 328 feet long. So far, at least one ski resort in Austria’s area Obergurgl-Hochgurgl have purchased a package, and they’re charging €20 for 15 minutes of ride time.
- Eye-catching black design, compact at 28 lbs, 220 lbs max load. Age: 16-50. Height: 3.11-6.6".
- High-performance battery: Dual 400W motors, 10 mph max speed, 13.7 miles per charge, 15° slope.
- Illuminating LED lights for visibility.

The Bobsla battery is easily swappable, so you’ll be able to change them out without having to take the vehicle out of service. Charging from empty to full requires approximately two hours.
