Vinay Venkatraman and Pei Yu created the “BookRadio”, a book with built-in radio capabilities, in which users turn the pages to change stations and slide a bookmark in/out for adjusting the volume. One of our readers just sent in a video clip of this device being demonstrated, watch after the jump.

It works by detecting the density of paper, and then wirelessly communicating the resulting frequency to the base unit, which then broadcasts the signal via speakers or headphones.
