File this under: weird Game Boy accessories. The original Game Boy Camera was ahead of its time when it was released back in 1998, but the accessory is quite large to say the least. Photographer Christopher Graves came up with an interesting solution and called it the Game Boy Mini Camera.
The solution involved using a reflashable Game Boy Camera PCB and an iPhone XR lens array with glass cover, both of which fit inside a standard cartridge. Thanks to Flash memory, all of the photos you take will be saved directly onto the cartridge in case the console runs out of battery. One thing to note is that the glass lens cover does stick out about 1.5mm, so you might not want to lay it flat.

All new Game Boy Mini Camera! Based off MartinRefseth flashable camera schematics, I reduced the overall size of the cart PCB and integrated the sensor into an all-in-one board,” said Graves.
