Compal Electronics’ DualFlip is essentially a dual-screen laptop that can be used in both stacked vertical and horizontal side-by-side modes. There is also a tablet mode where the two 13.3-inch touchscreen displays can be laid flat on a surface and used as a giant canvas.
Before attempting to use DualFlip in tablet mode, users will either have to bend the keyboard section completely back via the hinge or remove it altogether. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but Compal did take home an iF Design Award for DualFlip earlier this year.
