Italy-based Jet Capsule has unveiled the the I.F.O (Identified Flying Object), a manned drone for two. The flying saucer-shaped chassis features a main central capsule cockpit, surrounded by a carbon fiber disk, and is powered by eight electric engines, capable of propelling the machine to 120mph in the sky. It draws power from several batteries located within the disk, and has an additional battery pack placed right in the center of the body, good for a combined flying time of between 60-70 minutes. “For a smooth landing, the vehicle has six folding and extending suspensions – which makes it possible to access the I.F.O through an elevator, generated from the lower sub-spherical body. Otherwise, the capsule can be access by two removable bridges, available on any specific landing station,” reports Design Boom.
