This Minecraft-inspired “Qiyunshan Tree House” in China’s Anhui Province is no computer-generated imagery, but rather a real structure designed by Bengo Studio. This three-story living space consists of a series of stacked timber blocks, and boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, as well as a living room, all connected together by spiral staircase. “The next level contains another bedroom, before visitors find the scheme’s primary living accommodation in the form of a lounge. The ‘landscape room’ is contained within the uppermost storey, offering guests a carefully framed view of the rural terrain. A number of the volumes also have accessible roofs, culminating in the highest deck, which ensures panoramic views across the scenic setting,” reports Design Boom.
