There’s Jacob & Co’s Bugatti Chiron Blue Sapphire Crystal Watch, and then Continental’s Crystal Center Display. It’s claimed to be the world’s first automotive display embedded in transparent Swarovski crystal.
The Crystal Center Display uses microLED technology, which features self-illuminating pixels that offer far greater brightness and superior contrast compared to traditional display technologies. Swarovski engineers developed an extremely durable crystal housing that meets the optical and technical challenges of in-vehicle use, with a transparent tinted crystal element. This enables the driver and passengers to see straight through to the center console behind it.
