Early Tuesday morning, a massive sinkhole swallowed eight vehicles on display in the Kentucky-based Corvette Museum. The massive hole in the ground measures 40-feet across and is approximately 30-feet deep, according to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. Two of the lost Corvettes, a 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR1 Blue Devil, were being loaned to the museum by General Motors. Continue reading to see amazing drone footage.

NY Daily News reports, “Motion detectors in the museum sounded alarms in the Skydome display area when the ground shifted at 5:44 a.m. No one was injured in the domed exhibit space that is separate from the central museum. It was closed for the day while a structural engineer assesses the damage.
