Inventor Huang Xiaojie from Taipei Taiwan, built a custom fish tank that let him take his goldfish on walks around the city and even a night market or two. Simply put, it consists of a custom welded chassis that supports a sealed acrylic tube on wheels, complete with a handle that easily lets Huang to easily push the contraption around on just about any flat surface.
A battery-powered filtration system ensures that fresh water is circulated for the goldfish during the walk, while an air pump keeps the oxygen flowing. In case of a night walk, there’s a lighting system to keep them illuminated. Future plans? Huang hopes that he can one day bring this custom fish tank walker to market, possibly through crowd funding. SafeHandFish also used fish in a creative way, but for hand sanitizer.
