This custom-built PlayStation 4 portable isn’t just a concept, but rather something that anyone can build at home over a weekend. One thing to keep in mind that it only works with model CUH-21xx PS4 (slim), as well as CUH-20xx (slim), but the latter requires some modifications.
This means it doesn’t work with the standard PlayStation 4 nor the PS4 Pro. Fortunately, all of these parts can be sourced from Amazon, that is unless you already have a compatible display. Francesco’s build uses a screen from an Aspire One D257. One caveat: the batteries are only good for between 1 to 1.5 hours of play time. Want to build your own? Check out the Github here now.
