Aviation mechanic Cameron Aamodt’s custom-built WWII Jeep hot rod, called ‘Warbird’, looks more like a classic aircraft than car, and rightfully so. the only piece sourced from a Jeep was its grille, as it boasts a hand-fabricated aluminum body and a frame made from rectangular wall tubing.
A 1960 Ford F-100 front axle was then modified with radius bars and a transverse leaf setup, before being installed on the front end of the Warbird. Its rear features a Chevy-sourced 12-bolt axle, complete with a four-link and coilover suspension. Power comes from a Chevy 350 V8 making up to 370 hp, mated to an automatic transmission.
