Romanian designer Eduard Locota unveils his latest piece, the delMare. This amazing table combines marble with layers of acrylic glass to create an optical illusion that mimics the ocean floor. The $5,500 table is limited to just 35-pieces worldwide, stands on 3 legs, and looks different depending on your viewing angle, as well as the available light. “Engineered with an innovative three-footed design, the delMare table is a striking centerpiece with an appealing aesthetic, unusual shape, and stable base design provided by a low center of gravity. Made from white marble and blue-green acrylic glass, the piece has greater strength and less distortion than the average glass coffee table,” according to My Modern Met.
