First debuting way back in November 2013, the Devel Sixteen stood out from other supercars due to its 5000 HP power output claim, and now, after almost 5-years, a prototype has hit the road. This short clip shows the hypercar accelerating in the desert near Dubai at just 20% throttle. The base model will come equipped with a 2000 HP twin-turbocharged V8 and be priced from $1.6 million. “If that’s not enough, a 3000 hp version will be made available to customers. Last but not least, the all-conquering quad-turbo, 12.3-liter V16 derivative with 5000 hp will top out the range. Unfortunately, the most powerful version will be restricted to track use. Thus, potential buyers will have to make do with ‘just’ 3,000 HP – or twice the output of a Bugatti Chiron,” reports Car Scoops.
