DIY Perks PlayStation 5 Tablet Edition Build
West Coast Customs built a PS5 gaming van, while inventor Matthew Perks decided to create the world’s first PlayStation 5 Tablet Edition. Why? He wasn’t satisfied with the PlayStation Portal, which can only stream games from the actual console, so he took apart the newer slim model and went to work.

Unfortunately, just swapping in a PS5 Slim motherboard just wouldn’t be enough, as there are many other parts needed to get the console working properly. First, he replaced the main copper heatsink with a much shorter and wider one, but with the same cooling capacity. Next, he had to link all of the components to the heatsink before installing four miniature fans to keep things cool. There was much more work that went into the console, and the end result was definitely worth the effort, thanks to the help of a 3D printer.
