The all-new DJI Matrice 4 Series drones feature AI-powered smart detection, and it could be a game changer for emergency personnel. Available now in 4T ($7,299) and 4E ($4,799) variants, these drones both have a medium telephoto camera and a telephoto camera.
An optical 70mm medium telephoto lens (1/1.3 CMOS, 48MP, f/2.8) can be used to identify screws and cracks in medium-range inspections for power lines as well as bridges from a distance of 10 meters. For longer-range inspections, the 168mm telephoto lens (1/1.5 CMOS, 48 MP, f/2.8) is capable of capturing extreme details from up to 250 meters away, while the the laser range finder can measure distances from 1,800 meters away. The Matrice 4 Series can also function as a second pair of eyes during search and rescue missions, as they are able to detect vehicles from a distance, even in difficult terrain.
