
Not just any drone, the DroneHunter is armed with radar and a net to automatically intercept trespassing drones. This technology was developed start-up called Fortem Technologies and is based on DJI’s octocopter. The radars are extremely lightweight, while being super efficient, drawing the same power as an LED light. Timothy Bean, CEO of Fortem Technologies, said that its main use will be by the U.S. military to protect fighters and bases at a safe stand-off distance with little collateral damage.
