
East Coast Defender’s Project XIII is a fully customized Land Rover Defender, powered by a GM-sourced LS3 Corvette crate engine. Olympic Gold Medal soccer player Alex Morgan of the U.S Woman’s Soccer Team wanted a Land Rover unlike any other, and she got just that. The 6.2-liter V-8 engine produces 430-horsepower, enabling it to go from 0-60 in just 7-seconds, when working in conjunction with a Spectre cold-air intake and a custom Magnaflow dual tip cat-back system. “The Defender also hosts a premium Tarox Sport Braking system, a Slimline roof rack, eco-cage, Massi rear ladder, Wild Bear bumpers, a Warn winch in front, and LED lighting all around for a murdered-out overland aesthetic. They also hooked the ride up with Boost wheels wrapped within a set of 32.5-inch BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain KO2 tires and a 2-inch Terra Firma suspension lift. The interior also features custom-stitch upholstery and an updated infotainment system with an 8-speaker JBL system,” reports Hi Consumption.
