EHang’s EH216-S eVTOL successfully completed a pilotless test flight test. This marks an important step in UAM solutions for Brazil, as EHang and its local partners have now carried out over 50,000 safe flights in 17 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, as well as Latin America.
The two-seat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is capable of traveling up to 22 miles on a single charge, while operating at a maximum altitude of 9,800 feet. How fast? A comfortable 80.7 mph, which should be perfect for intercity travel. Most importantly, its batteries can be fully charged in two hours.
