Perfect for the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, the F250R Megaraptor is designed to go anywhere, and with plenty of power. Based on Ford’s heavy-duty F-250 truck, it’s powered by a 6.7L turbo diesel engine, boasts a widened track, and an upgraded suspension upgraded for extreme off-road performance. New fiberglass body panels were installed to fit the aluminum rims sourced from military MRAP vehicles, wrapped in 46″ Michelin XZL tires. “Each of these trucks goes through a comprehensive upgrade from a complete teardown and rebuild of the front end, a restructuring of the bed, the addition of a custom fiberglass semi-style hood, a 4″ lift and the inclusion of Bilstein 5100 shocks, and the addition of 46″ MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected military vehicle) wheels rated at 10,000 pounds. On top of the cost of a donor truck, the MegaRaptor conversion starts around $28,000 – but there’s also a smaller option on 40″ wheels, called the SuperRaptor, that goes for about $6k less,” reports Hi Consumption.
