Breaking away completely from the standard lamp designs, this gamer decided to put an old NES Zapper and custom-built Duck Hunt cartridge to good use. Continue reading for a brief overview. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Overview

At first glance, the base of this lamp may look like a real Duck Hunt cartridge, but it’s actually custom-built from cardboard — a 1.5-scale replica to be exact. The lamp shade was picked up at a local store for just $2, decorated with pixelated fun foam shapes, and lastly, glued down. While the NES Zapper was gutted, and then fitted with the parts needed for the lamp to function.
