Sky High

This tennis court, located atop the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, is the world’s highest. When not used for extreme sport matches, it doubles as a helicopter landing pad. One caveat: tennis balls that go over the edge will be nearly impossible to retrieve.

Floating Tennis Court

American Express decided to construct a floating tennis court of sorts in Potters Fields Park as a marketing stunt. They invited John McEnroe and Monica Seles to play a match while floating down River Thames. Monica says: “I have never done anything even close to this before. I am thinking this was a dream.”
