This film-used Star Wars C-3PO droid head sold for $843,750 USD at a prop auction recently. This piece was from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO in the Star Wars films besides Solo.
The head itself is made from fiberglass and used in Return of the Jedi during the Rebel Alliance’s battle in Endor, where they are stationed at the end of the film amid the collapse of the Empire. This was just one of many Star Wars props that had been sitting around Daniels’ cupboards, drawers and attics.

It is not only the prop that I wore, but it was also a prop I would use in interviews to identify myself. It’s very much, ‘You don’t know my face, but you know this face,'” said Daniels.
