XTURISMO Flying Hoverbike Detroit Auto Show
Far more compact than this flying hovercraft, the $777,000 USD XTURISMO flying hoverbike by Delware-based AERWINS Technologies made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show yesterday in a big way. How so? Company representatives provided the media with a live demonstration at the Coleman A. Young International Airport showing off some of its capabilities.

We know that a limited edition version is set to hit Japan later this year, but it will be released in the United States next year. AERWINS Technologies CEO Shuhei Komatsu hopes to get the price down to $50,000 USD by 2025, as he believes consumers will be interested at that price point for recreational purposes. There are multiple safety features including collision avoidance and radar to keep riders safe.
