Forget the G5, Boom’s supersonic jet is designed to travel at speeds up to 1,452 miles per hour (120mph faster than the Concorde). What does this mean? A trip from London to New York will only take a 3.5-hours. This 40-seat aircraft project is being headed by Amazon executive Blake Scholl, with ticket costing $5,000. Currently, the company is planning on 500 routes, including a 5-hour trips from San Francisco to Tokyo and 6-hour flights from Los Angeles to Sydney.
