Backed by Google’s Larry Page, the Kitty Hawk Flyer was designed for use over fresh water, and is [owered by a series of propellers. This means that the vehicle can take off and land vertically, thus making it a breeze to fly over a lake than by using a seaplane or boat. Riders are positioned like they would a motorcycle, with two joysticks as the controls.
