The world’s first and only Ford Mustang GT100 pickup truck started out as a fifth-generation model, powered by a 4.6L V8 engine making 300 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Combining the 1955 Ford F100 doors, roof, and bed frame onto the 2007 Ford Mustang GT chassis was the trickiest part. Unlike other heavily modified cars, the exterior body panels that you can see are all made from metal rather than fiberglass. Step inside, and you’ll find no semblance of the original F100 truck, just mostly parts from the fifth-generation Mustang. As you can see in the video above, the pickup truck drives fine, and definitely turns heads on the road.
