Say goodbye to beverage coolers, and hello to Earth Cooler, developed by Danish company eCool. This contraption basically holds up to 24 regular-sized cans, and is installed by simply burying it completely beneath the surface, or just any place with soil – garden, terrace, etc. The only tools required are either a garden shovel or a garden drill to make the hole deep enough. How do you get your drinks out of the ground? Just use the built-in hand crank – also used to lower the cans into the ground. As far dimensions and weight, the 12-kilogram Earth Cooler measures 113cm high, and between 22 and 30cm in diameter.
