A Polish company has unveiled PL-01, a stealth tank that will soon roam battlefields. Similar to the F-117 and F-22 fighters, it not only boasts a wedge shape to help deflect radar waves, but also an array of hexagonal Peltier plates. These plates are placed all over the tank’s surface, and can be heated or cooled to project a desired temperature such as the background, thus making it invisible to heat-seeking missiles. However, the coolest feature might be its fully automated turret, which doesn’t require space for an ammunition loader. It can be used with either a 105mm or 120mm caliber cannon, complete with muzzle suppressor. Within the hull are the commander and gunner, and the rear part of the fuselage can carry four soldiers.
