Ghostbusters VR was teased today by Mark Zuckerberg during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase event and even the Ecto-1 made a short appearance. Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) partnered with developer nDreams to make this game a reality, with players having a proton pack as well as a P.K.E. meter at their disposal. You’ll have everything you need to track, blast, and trap ghosts, all the while unraveling a mysterious conspiracy that threatens the entire city.
Best of all, this isn’t just a single player game, you’ll be able to team up with three friends for a true Ghostbusters experience. There’s no word yet on when the game will arrive on the Meta Quest 2, but since it was announced today, you should expect the official release some time this summer. Other titles announced today include Among Us VR, NFL Pro Era, Red Matter 2, Espire 2, Moss: Book 2, Cities: VR, and Resident Evil 4 VR.
