GM SURUS

The GM SURUS (Silent Utility Rover Universal Superstructure) is unlike any other autonomous trucks, as it uses a Hydrotec fuel-cell propulsion system, which means near-silent operation and a range of over 400 miles per charge. The cab-less design means that all moving parts are concealed within the chassis, making it perfect for military applications, an emergency on-the-go medic station, and transporting shipping containers. “Other benefits include quiet and odor-free operation, off-road mobility, field configuration, instantaneous high torque, exportable power generation, water generation and quick refueling times. Powering the platform are two advanced electric drive units, a lithium-ion battery system and a Gen 2 fuel cell system.
